Drinks evening on 3 February

Join us on Wednesday 3 February at Revolution after work to break the monotony of winter’s cold dark nights.  We’ll be giving out free drinks vouchers on arrival and the Revolution staff will be handing out free flavoured vodka shots through the night!  Our great sponsors at Wesleyan for Lawyers will also be there to give out some raffle prizes as well!

No need to RSVP, just come along. All junior lawyers in Bristol are invited, so do come along and bring a colleague (or three)…

National JLD trip to Borneo (and beyond!)

You may recall the recent JLD/Raleigh expedition to Borneo, which saw JLD volunteers assisting to bring a clean water system to a village in Borneo.

Our members have been invited to join the National JLD at 18:00 for 18:30 on 2 February 2010 at Allen & Overy’s offices in London to view the work completed on the pilot expedition to Borneo and see how you can get involved in 2010.  The event will include drinks, canapés and entertainment.

If you are motivated in building your corporate social responsibility profile and interested in taking part in an expedition in 2010 while gaining a full year of CPD points, this event is for you!
