Bristol JLD Charity Quiz

The Bristol JLD invite you and three friends or colleagues to enter the

Bristol JLD Charity Pub Quiz.

Join us at Steam Bar, 15, Union Gate, 63 Union St, Bristol BS1 2DL on Thursday 21st April 2016 from 6.00pm for a 6.30pm start.

There will also be a raffle raising money for Julian Trust Night Shelter (Charity Number: 294751) our charity of the year. A strip of raffle tickets will cost £5.00.

All students, trainees, paralegals, solicitors,  barristers and other junior lawyers are welcome!

Entry costs just £20 per team (max of 4) and includes food and a drink!

The Sleep Out 2016 – Help Support our Charity of the Year

The Bristol JLD has this year chosen to support Julian Trust Night Shelter. The charity supports hundreds of homeless and disadvantaged people in Bristol everyday by providing shelter, food and advice.

Every year the charity takes part in the The Sleep Out event at the Pip and Jay Church to raise money and awareness for the charity. All participates must sleep outside all night without any shelter. The Sleepout is an annual event run in conjunction with the Bristol Homeless Forum to allow organisations working with homeless people in Bristol to come together for a joint fundraising and awareness event.

The Bristol JLD has put together a team from the committee and other volunteers to take part in The Sleep Out 2016 on 26th February 2016 to raise money for the charity.

We are anticipating a cold night ahead so please kindly donate to this excellent cause and help support those who are less fortunate. Any sum whether large or small is welcome.

November Drinks

Bristol JLD,  Chadwick Nott and Wesleyan invite you to attend the Election Drinks and Bristol JLD AGM on Tuesday 24th November 2015 from 6pm at Pata Negra on Corn Street.
Join us for drinks and nibbles to celebrate the last year and meet the new 2015/2016 Committee.

We will also be presenting a cheque to our 2014/2015 Charity of the Year – Macmillan Cancer Support (Registered Charity Number: 261017)
