If you are purchasing tickets from us direct we may use your data for the purposes of processing the payment, but the data is not held/retained by us.

How is your information used?

We may use your information to  send you communications which you have requested by joining our mailing list about our events and other things that may be of interest to you, notifying you of any changes to our services, seeking your feedback on the Bristol JLD and our events and carrying out obligations arising from any contracts entered into by you and us. 

If you have signed up to attend one of our events we may use your data for the purposes of organising and running the event and to contact you about the event.

When you purchase a ticket for an event this will be done by processed by a third party payment processor, who specialises in the secure online capture and processing of credit/debit card transactions via a service such as Eventbrite or you have sent us a cheque/bank transfer directly. We review our retention periods for personal information on a regular basis. We will hold your personal information on our systems for as long as is necessary for the relevant activity, or as long as is set out in any relevant contract you hold with us.
