Bristol JLD launches new website – sort of

You may not notice at first, but we’ve just had a MAJOR overhaul of our website.  The changes are mostly behind-the-scenes computer-geek things, but you’ll probably find a few things missing for the next few weeks until we get it all put back together.

In the future, it will be much easier for us to update the website, with photos and event details, and generally keeping you updated. You’ll also be able to leave comments about our news items.  We hope to add even more in the future, so watch this space…

commercial partnership opportunities

As ever, the committee is looking for sponsorship for many of its events over the next year (including the amazing Bristol JLD Annual Charity Ball).

 So if you work for a recruitment agency or any other business with an interest in exploring commercial partnership opportunities (long term or one-off) then please do get in touch with us soon whilst we are looking ahead to see what’s in the JLD pipeline over the next 12 months.

new committee takes over

Thanks to all of our members who came to our Election Drinks event on 29 October.  Thanks also to last year’s committee, who saw the Bristol JLD through its first year (after the expansion from the Bristol Trainee Solicitors Group).

The new committee – details are on the “contact” page above – is already hard at work planning events for the months to come.  If you have any suggestions for us, do get in touch!
