Thank you for Supporting our 2016-2017 Charity of the Year – The Sky Project

Once again we would like to thank you for supporting our Charity of the Year for 2016-2017 is the Sky Project. This year we raised £2,757 for the Sky Project.

The funds raised will help the Sky Project:

·         deliver more training for free

·         enhance their existing training packages for professionals and create a further package for schools.

·         update our website so that forced marriage victims are able to contact the relevant people in Bristol

·         create marketing tools

·          importantly, they are looking to set up a survivors network (of forced marriage and honour based violence victims) in collaboration with the Avon and Somerset police. The money will be used to help set up this network for victims.

·         Finally, due to ongoing demand, they are also looking to expand our trainers around the South West so not a penny will be wasted.

Further information about the charity can be found at http://www.skyproject.org.uk/

Thank you for your support.
