BLS Quiz Night – 7th May 2015

Bristol JLD members are invited to the Bristol Law Society Quiz Night at Pitcher & Piano, V Shed, Cannons Road, Bristol on Thursday 7th May 2015 from 6.00 pm

Back by popular demand, it is the Bristol Law Society’s famous general knowledge quiz. Pit your wits against your competitors for the title of ‘Bristol Law Society’s Brainbox’. Hosted by the “legendary” Ben Holt with the usual top flight prizes!

Bath Lawyers Quiz- 17th September 2014

The Bristol Law Society is pleased to invite you to attend the inaugural Bath lawyers’ quiz which will take place at Withy King’s Midland Bridge House office Bath on 17 September from 5.30pm.

The full details of the quiz are:
Date: Wednesday 17 September
Timings: Registration and drinks at 5.30pm, quiz starts at 6.30pm
Venue: Withy King’s Midland Bridge House office, Bath BA2 3FP
Entry fees: £5 per person to include drinks and a finger buffet.

Your entry fee will be collected on the night.

 
Teams: No teams! Please enter as an individual and you will be assigned a team on the night.

All proceeds will be divided between the Bristol Lord Mayor’s Appeal and the RUH Forever Friends Appeal.

Bristol Legal Sunday – 19th October

Save the date for this year’s Legal Sunday Service, which will be held on Sunday 19 October 2014 at Bristol Cathedral. The Rt Rev Christopher Hill, former Bishop of Guildford, has agreed to preach. As is customary, invitations will be extended to all those associated with the Courts, the legal profession and the wider law and order community in Bristol, as well as Members and Officers of the City Council.
