Jessie May Trust – our charity for 2011

The JLD recently handed over  a very  impressive cheque for £3,523.33 to BrAMS, which has been our charity of 2010. We would like to say a huge ‘thank you’ to everyone who supported the JLD events during the last year.

The committee are very pleased to announce that for 2011 we will be raising money for the Jessie May Trust through our fundraising events. The Jessie May Trust is a local charity providing nursing care for children with life limiting conditions at their homes so they are near their families throughout. For more information please see the charity’s website: www.jessiemaytrust.org.uk

We hope that our members will continue to support our fundraising events as well as they have in the past. We have set ourselves the target of raising even more money in 2011!
