Junior Lawyer of the Year Award

Bristol Law Society are asking members of Bristol JLD to nominate local junior lawyers for their annual “Junior Lawyer of the Year Award”.  The deadline for nominations is today!

The award is intended for trainee solicitors and solicitors with up to five years PQE and shall be granted to a junior lawyer who has shown exceptional dedication and endeavours to enter the profession and qualify as a solicitor and/or has made a significant contribution either to their firm or otherwise in the early part of their career.

Nominations should include details of why the entry should be considered for the chosen award. Nominations should not exceed 4 A4 pages but accompanying documentation of another 4 pages will be allowed. It would be helpful if the submission could consider the following points:

• Outline of initiatives / action undertaken
• Background to why initiatives / action undertaken
• Significance of issues addressed
• Benefits to the individual, practice or organisation
• Evidence of impact on others
